Digital Forecast
The map provides air temperature forecast at 2 meters above the ground. Air temperature scale is on the right side of the page, measurement units are Celsius degrees, °C.
The map contains precipitation intensity, cloudiness and pressure at sea level forecast. Precipitation intensity and cloudiness scales are on the right side of the page. Precipitation intensity units are millimetres per hour, mm/h. Cloudiness units are percents, %, showing what area of the sky is covered by low and medium height clouds. Atmospheric pressure measurement units are hectopascals, hPa. Atmospheric pressure in the centre of anticyclone is higher, and in the cyclone's lower than in the surrounding area.
Wind is dangerously strong when its speed reaches 15-27 m/s, very strong - 28-32 m/s and a hurricane, when its speed is equal or higher than 33 m/s.
The map provides wind gusts forecast at 10 m above the ground. Wind gusts scale is on the right side of the page, measurement units are meters per second, m/s.
The map provides horizontal visibility forecast at 2 m above the ground. Visibility scale is on the right side of the page, measurement units are meters, m. Visibility decrease can disrupt the safety of transport, aviation, rail, marine and other vehicle traffic. If the visibility varies between 1 and 10 km, this phenomenon is called mist. If the visibility is less than 1000 m (1 km), it is called fog. Visibility may be reduced not only by fog or mist, but also because of intense precipitation (rain or snow).
